Destinee was born and raised in the small town of Palisade Colorado. She first picked up an old hand me down guitar that her dad gave her at the age of 10. It was as if music was her calling and from that very day, she has never looked back. She is a singer songwriter and currently is a music business major at Colorado Mesa University. Her goal is to be involved in music at every level. She sings in her modest recording studio, on the back porch for friends and family or in front of thousands at major venues. She opened for the governors inauguration when she was 14, has played at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and the Palisade Bluegrass festival to name a few. Her songs are inspirational and soulful. The Sink Creek Band has been in the making for a while. The band brings a new life to her music. Bobby Walker (Detroit Boogie) will be opening for her and her new band. This will certainly be a memorable event. For those of you who would like a preview, Destinee will be playing live on KAFM 88.1 Thursday March 19 at 5:30.
