Cavalcade's main street concert entertainment venue serves the live performance music listening community of Fruita and nearby Grand Junction. Our unique space will accommodate an audience of 80 people for live music, poetry, comedy, and community events. We are an all-volunteer non-profit performing arts venue located right in the very heart of historic downtown Fruita, Colorado. Restaurants, breweries, recreation, and shopping, are just steps away from our front door.
Retail snacks are offered at our concessions/ticket counter. We have 2 restrooms and a comfortable backstage area with a couch and sink. Our audience-level stage and backstage are separated by a decorative backdrop. The stage area is approximately 14' 6" wide by 8' deep. Our digital multi-channel house sound system includes a subwoofer and 2 stage floor monitors. The system has the power and fidelity to handle just about any live music setup, and our sound engineer will help bring your concert to life! We have basic wide-angle RGB lighting for our stage. We also have a table for merchandise sales that can be located inside or outside the venue (weather permitting). An overhead digital projector and ceiling-mounted pull-down screen in front of the stage are capable of presenting HD images or video up to 6' wide and 4' tall. CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, and some USB media can be played directly through our audio/video system.
